The Hinkley Supply Chain, Sedgemoor District Council and the Bridgwater Chamber of Commerce are pleased to be working together to bring to you this event for local companies who want to maximise their chances of joining the Hinkley Point C (HPC) Supply Chain.
We want more local businesses to understand the role of the supply chain team and to learn how they can be part of the project.
With contracts being awarded throughout the construction phase, and during the 60+ years of operation and decommissioning, there is a significant pipeline of opportunity and we want to support your business in making the most of it.
Come along to this Business Breakfast to hear from local businesses about their own experiences with the supply chain, learn how you can make the most of the opportunities available, and get the support/advise you need to be part of the supply chain from the Hinkley Supply Chain & Sedgemoor District Council representatives who’ll be present.

Sedgemoor District Council has been supporting Hinkley Point C (HPC) project since its inception.
HPC is the biggest construction project in Europe in a generation and the Council is committed to supporting local people and businesses in accessing the jobs and supply chain opportunities.
Sedgemoor District Council is working closely with partners to ensure that Sedgemoor is best positioned to bid and win contracts with HPC and create a long-lasting legacy for years to come.
As a Council, Sedgemoor can offer support and advise to those considering being part of the supply chain.
The Hinkley Supply Chain, based at Somerset Chamber of Commerce, has a dedicated team which has been working in partnership with EDF since 2010 to maximise the opportunities for businesses in Somerset, the South West and South Wales.
Working with Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors, we identify work packages and clarify the requirements that we can match to the capabilities within the supply chain.
Mapping work package requirements allows us to identify appropriate suppliers. We then ensure we support those suppliers through the process.
